Elaine Miller Bruner, RN, MSN, CMGT-BC is an experienced nurse case manager with over 20 years in diverse healthcare settings including acute care, community health, and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.

Elaine is active with the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) as a member of the Nominating Committee and the Military/VA Planning Committee. She is a Past-President of the Hampton Roads Virginia CMSA chapter and the current Education Chair with the Central Virginia CMSA chapter. In 2008, Elaine received the CMSA Award of Service Excellence.

Elaine co-authored the Nursing Case Management Review and Resource Manual, 4th Ed. and has offered exam preparation products with the ANCC including live workshops, audio reviews and webinars. Her investment in education and training includes national and regional presentations on various case management topics as well publications on home health care and case management topics.

Combined with over 40 years in nursing practice, Elaine offers her knowledge, experience, and sense of humor to motivate, educate, and coach nurses to certification success.
